Job summary

Monadnock Community Hospital in Peterborough, NH is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for outpatient care. You will work with a team of Physical Therapists to serve patients of all ages with orthopedic, neurological and other challenges to improve function under the supervision of the primary therapist.

• Provides patient treatments under supervision following established policies for pediatric to geriatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient/resident physical treatments per policies under supervision of the primary therapist.
• Work with a team of Physical Therapists to coordinate patient care in the outpatient setting.
• Serve patients of all ages with orthopedic, neurological and other challenges to improve function.
• Follow additional duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job description

This Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) position is primarily in the outpatient setting at Monadnock Community Hospital (MCH) in the Bond Wellness Center Building. The PTA will be assigned to a team of Physical Therapists to better serve the patients with coordinated care. In this position, the PTA will be working with patients of all ages with orthopedic, neurological and other challenges to improve the patient’s function under the supervision of the primary physical therapist.

We are looking for a dynamic PTA who is committed to collaborating with all MCH Rehab Staff and is interested in ongoing skill development in this team focused department.

Provides patient/resident physical treatments according to established policies and procedures for pediatric to geriatric patients as assigned by and under the supervision of the primary therapist.
