Aberjona Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Winchester, MA is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our therapy team. The PTA will provide daily treatment, conduct ROM and strength work, and document progress for residents.

Compensation: $32.00 - $42.00 per hour
Full-Time | Part-Time | PRN (Per Diem)

Provide day-to-day treatment, including but not limited to:
Bed mobility, transfers, gait, and stair training
Therapeutic exercises (ROM, strengthening, stretching, balance, etc.)
Coordination and facilitation/inhibition programs
Communicate with other disciplines to ensure coordinated patient care
Participate in family conferences, home visits, and community awareness activities when appropriate
Provide necessary documentation in the patient’s medical record
Follow treatment plans and make adjustments as needed based on patient progress
Supervise rehab and restorative aids regarding patient treatments and mobility
Ensure timely and accurate submission of treatment documentation and charges
Complete discharge charts, including FIMs, home treatment programs, and equipment recommendations
Current MA State License as a Physical Therapy Assistant
Graduate of an APTA-approved Physical Therapy Assistant program
Ability to plan and carry out treatment programs in accordance with state, federal, and APTA standards
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work with patients of various personalities and needs
Associate's Degree required for PTA position
Drive to continually grow professionally and personally
