South Bay Post Acute Care in Chula Vista, CA is seeking a Full Time Physical Therapist Assistant to join our in-house therapy team.

As a member of our team you’ll deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment, develop actionable care plans, and collaborate with patients, families, and other providers to support recovery.

This role offers a competitive hourly pay range of $36–$45 and a supportive culture that values balance, growth, and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Physical Therapist Assistant license is required.
• Open to PTAs at all experience levels. New Grads are welcome!

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care; develop care plans per regulatory and clinical standards.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions.
• Regular standing and walking; occasional lifting, transferring, and repositioning of patients and equipment.
• Administer rehab procedures including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, devices, and wound care.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other providers.
• Generate discharge summaries ensuring regulatory and clinical compliance.
