Job summary

The Lakes Home Care, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team in providing compassionate, in-home therapy.

You will assist Physical Therapists in developing and implementing treatment plans, help patients regain movement, and monitor progress to adjust care as needed. The ideal candidate has experience in patient care, prefers geriatrics or orthopedics, or hospital/home care settings, and understands physiology and inpatient therapy procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in patient care, particularly geriatrics, orthopedics, or hospital/home care settings.
• Knowledge of physiology and occupational health practices.
• Familiarity with inpatient therapy procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to Physical Therapists in developing and implementing treatment plans.
• Work with patients to help them regain movement and manage pain.
• Monitor and document patient progress during therapy sessions.
• Educate patients and their families on at-home exercises and care routines.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
