Responsibilities
  1. Assist the Physical Therapist (PT) in implementing patient care and treatment plans to restore optimal function and mobility.
  2. Provide education related to treatment, disease processes, and injury prevention to patients, families, and team members.
  3. Handle pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing situations effectively.
  4. Perform assigned duties in compliance with all regulations, policies, and procedures of licensing boards and Benefis Health System.
Requirements
  • Associate of Arts (AA) degree from an accredited school or college approved by the American Physical Therapy Association.
  • Current Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license from Montana.
  • Temporary licensure as governed by the State Practice Act.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
