Comprehensive Home Health Solutions in Northern Nevada is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support patients in regaining their mobility and quality of life in their homes. Flexibility is a key aspect of this role with both part-time and full-time opportunities available.

Qualifications

Join our compassionate home‑health team, where you’ll work closely with a supportive, interdisciplinary team to help individuals regain strength, reduce pain, and restore function—all in the comfort of their own homes.

Your Role & Responsibilities:

• Implement individualized physical therapy care plans under the supervision of a licensed PT.
• Guide patients through prescribed exercise programs to improve strength, range of motion, and mobility.
• Assist patients in gait training using walkers, crutches, braces, and other mobility aids.
• Apply therapeutic modalities such as ultrasound, muscle stimulation, hot/cold packs, and massage.
• Monitor and document patient progress, reporting significant changes to the PT.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs to encourage continued progress.
• Maintain sterile procedures and ensure therapy equipment is properly cleaned and maintained.
• Participate in quality assurance (QA) and in‑service training to stay up to date with best practices.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in the state of practice.
• Graduate of an accredited PTA program (CAPTE-approved).
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a PTA (home health experience preferred). Open to fresh grads will train!!
• CPR certification (required).
• Ability to lift and transfer patients weighing 150+ lbs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients and families.
• Must pass a criminal background check and meet all state compliance requirements.
• Comfortable traveling to patient homes (reliable transportation required).
