Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting. As a PTA, you will provide physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, helping residents regain mobility and achieve their highest functional potential.

What you will be doing:

  • Assist the Physical Therapist in executing individualized therapy plans for residents.
  • Conduct therapy sessions aimed at improving strength, balance, and mobility.
  • Monitor residents’ progress and provide feedback to the Physical Therapist.
  • Document treatment sessions and maintain accurate patient records.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What you must have:

  • Current PTA licensure.
  • 1 year of experience.
  • Experience in a SNF or geriatric care setting is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Covid-19 Vaccine and Flu Vaccine status required.

Other Information:
Contract Role

  • 36 + hour guarantee; will also consider candidates wanting part-time hours.
  • Start Date: ASAP.
  • Contract duration: 13+ weeks can be extended.
