Position:Physical Therapist Assistant

Location: 9950 Stirling Road, Suite 107. Cooper City, FL 33024

Schedule: Full Time (Monday-Friday), Schedule TBD

Compensation: $26-$33/hour plus up to $2,000 bonus. Starting hourly rate increases with experience.

Select Physical Therapy in Cooper City, FL is looking for a PTA that can help grow this new outpatient orthopedic clinic. Starting at 32 hours/week with the ability to grow into 40.

Our Select Physical Therayoutpatient orthopedic center is seeking a licensed physical therapist assistant (PTA) to provide top-notch patient care to patients of all ages and abilities. Our highly trained and respected clinical team provides treatment services that maximize functionality and promote the best optimal outcomes for our patients. Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

Qualifications

• College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
• Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
• CPR certification
