Position: Physical Therapist Assistant - Outpatient Orthopedics

Location: 3488 East Lake Rd. STe 302 Palm Harbor, FL 34685

Schedule: Mon - Fri

Compensation: $25/hr - $29/hr! Starting hourly rate calculated by experience.

Incentives: $12,000 bonus PLUS indefinite student debt repayment of $200/month

Select Physical Therapy's outpatient center has an immediate need for a Full Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). Join our clinical team of 2 PTs, 1 PTA, and 2 OT/CHT treating an outpatient orthopedic population. Center specialties include neuro, vestibular, concussion, sports medicine, FCEs, POETS, hand therapy, dry needling, fall prevention, and ACL program.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
  • Implement, with minimal supervision, high-quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers, and facilities in accordance with the principles and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures.
  • Maintain positive interactions with centers and patients, and work to enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
Qualifications
  • College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program.
  • Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE.
  • Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process).
  • CPR certification.
