Description

Austill's Educational Services, the leading provider of school-based related services in southeastern PA, seeks aPhysical Therapist Assistant (*)to work with school age children in the York, PA area for the 2025-26 school year. Pediatric experience preferred; however, we provide peer mentorship and resources to help transition to the school setting. *PTAs must have active indirect licensure.

Responsibilities of the Physical Therapist Assistant

  • Direct therapy with students in preschool to grade 12
  • Consultation with teachers, other therapists, support staff, and families to facilitate classroom mobility and participation.
  • Documentation requirements include data collection, marking period progress updates, and yearly IEP revisions, including updated goals and treatment strategies.
  • Attendance at IEP meetings is recommended.
  • Some travel may be required throughout the school day
Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant educational program.
  • Valid Pennsylvania Physical Therapist Assistant Indirect License
  • Passion for working with children and a clear dedication to helping them maximize their potential
  • Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills
  • Exceptional desire to be a collaborative team member, learn and grow
