Overview
Blue Stone Therapy is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team. This role can be full-time, part-time, or PRN. Under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, you will assist with the delivery of physical therapy treatment interventions and services, directly or indirectly, as outlined by an established treatment plan and in accordance with state practice guidelines. This position provides patient care to primarily adult and geriatric patients. Blue Stone Therapy is certified as a Great Place to Work. For a limited time, offering a $3,000 sign on bonus!
Responsibilities
- Provides therapeutic treatment in accordance with the patients’ established plan of care with a focus on functional and measurable outcomes.
- Monitors patients' progress and reports any changes to the Physical Therapist.
- Participates in training programs for community staff, patients, families, and rehabilitation staff.
- Assists the Physical Therapist in establishing restorative nursing programs, as necessary, along with restorative nursing department efforts to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Education and Experience
- Successful completion of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.

License and Certification
- Current valid Physical Therapist Assistant license to practice in the appropriate state.
