Position: Physical Therapist Assistant

Location: Westborough, MA

Schedule: Monday through Friday

Compensation: hourly rate from $30/hr $35/hr based on experience

Located conveniently at the intersection of Routes 9/90/495, Westborough is accessible from both the Boston area and the city of Worcester. Our location at 154 East Main Street has been inside the Westborough Medical Center for over 30 years and we have been serving the local community with excellence for those 3 decades. UMASS/Worcester based orthopedic and sports med doctors see patients in our building and this together with our longevity in this space leaves us with a diverse orthopedic caseload. Our Select Physical Therapyoutpatient orthopedic center is seeking a licensed physical therapist assistant (PTA) to provide exceptional patient care to patients of all ages and abilities. Our highly trained and respected clinical team provides treatment services that maximize functionality and promote the best optimal outcomes for our patients. Responsibilities
  • Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
  • Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
  • Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
Qualifications
  • College graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
  • Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
  • Valid State Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License (or license in process)
  • CPR Certification
