Job summary

HealthPro Heritage in West Palm Beach, FL is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant for a part-time/PRN role in a senior living setting. The position offers flexible schedules and an established rehab team to support professional growth.

As a PTA, you will assist therapists, provide direct patient care, document progress, and educate patients and families. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care across multiple facilities.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant, or license eligible.
• Strong assessment and interpersonal communication skills with ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists.
• Provide direct patient care including exercises, manual therapy, and modality applications.
• Monitor and document patient progress, report observations to the Physical Therapist, and educate patients and families on treatment protocols.
• Collaborate with therapists and healthcare staff for coordinated care.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate’s degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program.
• Licensure: Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant, or license eligible
• Skills: Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in using diagnostic tools, therapy equipment, relevant software, and electronic health record systems, with a proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
