Position Overview

Assist with ensuring the health and well-being of individuals by providing comprehensive therapy services. Administer skilled physical therapy treatments as developed by a Registered Physical Therapist, maintaining high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, developing, and carrying out treatment programs.
• Document resident behavior and progress.
• Maintain records and reports as requested.
• Participate in in-service training.
• Keep supplies organized and equipment sanitized.
• Arrive on time, work as scheduled, and have reliable transportation.
• Use electronic timekeeping system.
• Maintain confidentiality and privacy of resident information.
• Follow dress code, including wearing a name tag.
• Perform duties according to service standards and goals.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current New York State license.
• Valid CPR/BLS credentials.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English at an intermediate or higher level.
