Job summary

HealthPro Heritage in Venice, FL is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for a PRN opportunity in a senior living setting. Build your own schedule while contributing to compassionate care and skilled therapy services.

You will assist therapists, provide direct patient care, document progress, and support interprofessional collaboration to improve resident outcomes in a facility that values excellence and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant, or license eligible.
• Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists.
• Provide direct patient care including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modality applications.
• Monitor and document patient progress, report observations to the Physical Therapist, and educate patients and families on treatment protocols, exercises, and self-care techniques.
• Accurately document patient treatments, progress, and responses in compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
• Collaboration with Physical Therapists and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
