Northern Cardinal Rehabilitation and Nursing is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our PRN team. You will assist in providing tailored physical therapy under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, helping residents improve mobility, strength, and independence.

As a PTA, you will provide physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, helping residents improve their mobility, function, strength, and independence.
Implement each resident’s individualized treatment plan as established by the Physical Therapist.
Provide physical therapy treatments designed to support increased function, mobility, and independence.
Work collaboratively with the rehabilitation and interdisciplinary teams to implement programs consistent with each resident’s needs and capabilities.
Assist the Physical Therapist with tests, evaluations, and complex procedures as directed.
Educate residents, families, and caregivers on appropriate physical therapy techniques and strategies under the supervision of the Physical Therapist.
Communicate resident progress, response to treatment, and relevant concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist.
Promote resident safety, dignity, participation, and independence throughout treatment.
Complete required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Rehabilitation or supervising Physical Therapist.
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
Current and valid PTA license or eligibility for licensure as required by the state of practice.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative rehabilitation team.
