Responsibilities:

• Assist in executing the physical therapy care plan/treatment as prescribed by the therapist and physician, following State Practice Acts.
• Perform clinical tasks, communicate, and document accurately and timely.
• Follow established policies and procedures within scope of practice.
• Recognize and respond to patient care priorities.
• Complete all orientation, in-services, and training on schedule.
• Perform additional duties as directed by supervisor.

Licensure, Certification, and Educational Requirements:

• Valid professional license in the state of practice.
• Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited school. Foreign-trained candidates must have their program deemed equivalent to U.S. standards by an approved credential evaluation organization.
