Job summary

Therapeutic Associates Gateway Physical Therapy in Oregon is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our outpatient team. You will provide physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist, contributing to patient progress and documentation.

We offer a collaborative care model, ongoing mentorship, and opportunities for continuing education, with a focus on patient-centered care and community impact within our growing clinic network.

Qualifications

• AA or higher degree as Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) from an accredited program.
• Current State PTA License.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Implement components of patient interventions and modify progress per PT instructions.
• Provide quality PT services per treatment plan.
• Produce accurate documentation of treatment.
• Communicate treatment progression and follow-up needs to team.
• Educate and counsel patients on treatment and safety.
• Participate in reassessments and discharge planning.
• Other related duties as assigned.

We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. This role provides physical therapy services under the direction and supervision of a physical therapist.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Implement selected components of patient interventions (treatment), obtain data related to the interventions provided, and make modifications either to progress the patient as directed by the physical therapist or to ensure patient/client safety and comfort
• Provide quality physical therapy services including implementation of the treatment plan established by the patient’s physical therapist
• Produce accurate, relevant, and timely documentation based on the physical therapist’s prescribed course of treatment
• Communicate the patient’s treatment progression, changes of treatment, and recommended medical follow up when necessary to team members, as appropriate.
• Educate and counsel patients regarding issues related to treatment and goal(s), safety risks, and/or other issues within scope of practice
• Participate in team reassessments and discharge planning
• Other related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• AA or higher degree as Physical Therapist Assistant from an institution accredited by Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education
• Current State Physical Therapist Assistant License
• Current CPR certification
