Job summary

Therapeutic Associates Grants Pass Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. This role provides physical therapy services under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist.

You will work in a collaborative clinic environment, perform treatment interventions, document progress, support patient education, and contribute to a compassionate, outcomes-driven care team. We offer comprehensive benefits and professional growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• AA or higher degree as Physical Therapist Assistant from an institution accredited by Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education
• Current State Physical Therapist Assistant License
• Current CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Implement selected components of patient interventions (treatment), obtain data related to the interventions provided, and make modifications to progress the patient or ensure safety.
• Provide quality physical therapy services including implementation of the treatment plan established by the patient’s physical therapist.
• Produce accurate, relevant, and timely documentation based on the physical therapist’s prescribed course of treatment.
• Communicate the patient’s treatment progression, changes of treatment, and recommended medical follow up when necessary to team members.
• Educate and counsel patients regarding treatment, safety risks, and goals within scope of practice.
• Participate in team reassessments and discharge planning.
• Other related duties as assigned

• Communicate the patient’s treatment progression, changes of treatment, and recommended medical follow up when necessary to team members, as appropriate.
