We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will work under the supervision of licensed physical therapists to provide high-quality patient care. You will assist in implementing treatment plans, helping patients regain mobility and improve their overall physical function. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong background in manual techniques and a passion for helping others achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapist in implementing individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Provide direct patient care, including therapeutic exercises, modalities, and manual therapy techniques.
• Monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the supervising therapist.
• Educate patients on home exercise programs and self-care strategies.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress notes in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in discharge planning to facilitate a smooth transition towards independence .

Experience

• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology and medical terminology is essential.
• Experience working with diverse populations
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques is preferred.
• Specialized training in Myofascial Release and or Yoga is highly desirable
