Job summary

Adoration Health, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, seeks a Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant in Salisbury, NC. You will provide 1:1 patient care under the supervision of a PT and work in a supportive home health environment.

This full-time position offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus, flexible scheduling, mileage reimbursement, comprehensive health benefits, a 401(k) with company match, generous PTO, and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted PTA license in the state of practice.
• BLS/CPR certification as per state regulations.
• Minimum of 1 year of PTA experience preferred.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to neurological injuries.

Responsibilities

• Provides physical therapy services planned, delegated and supervised by the Physical Therapist.
• Collaborates regularly with the Physical Therapist on the treatment plan and progress.
• Maintains and submits patient treatment and billing documentation per regulations.

Responsibilities

As a Home Health PTA, You will:

• Provides physical therapy services planned, delegated and supervised by the qualified Physical Therapist in accordance with the patient’s Plan of Treatment
• Confers with Physical Therapist regularly regarding patient’s plan of treatment, status of progress toward goals, questions and concernsCommunicates patient’s needs and progress to the Physical Therapist of record and assists in securing special adaptive equipment for patient to improve function.Incorporates the use of adaptive equipment to enhance the rehabilitation program
• Maintains and submits patient treatment and billing documentation in the format and timelines required by the Company, facility, funding source, local, state and federal regulations

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist Assistant by state in which practicing
• Current Basic Life Support or cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification, in accordance state regulations
• A minimum of one year’s work experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant preferred
• Demonstrates knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury
