Job summary

Patapsco Healthcare is seeking a part-time Physical Therapist to join our in-house facility and support a strong rehab team. This role is suitable for new graduates or PTs with limited Skilled Nursing experience, offering flexible scheduling and full benefits.

You will plan and deliver treatments, educate patients and families, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to promote healing and mobility.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist required or pending licensure in Maryland.
• Ability to plan, implement, and monitor patient treatment plans.

Responsibilities

• Plan treatment to residents and patients with disabilities to relieve pain, restore or improve function, and promote healing.
• Assure all treatment is delivered in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Provide clinical support and instruct patients, families, and caregivers.
• Monitor patient response to treatment.
• Complete required forms and documentation in accordance with policy and regulations.
• Consult with patients to learn about their physical condition.
• Assess and interpret patient evaluations and test results.
• Develop treatment plans using various techniques.
• Create personalized fitness-oriented health care programs.
• Administer medically prescribed physical therapy treatments to relieve pain and improve mobility.
• Advise patients on exercise techniques and home treatment options.
• Provide educational information about injury prevention and ergonomics.

• Consulting with patients to learn about their physical condition.
