You will deliver in-home therapy under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, focusing on strengthening, mobility, balance, and safe transfers for patients in their own homes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAPTE accredited 2 year associate PTA degree program.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a PTA in this state.
• Current CPR Certification.

Responsibilities

• Conduct treatments as assigned by the Physical Therapist (PT) in the patient's home.
• Perform muscle strengthening, balance, mobility, and gait activities.
• Monitor patient responses and consult with the PT for modifications to the plan.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on the use of assistive devices.
• Participate in weekly team meetings to discuss patient care plans.
• Assist the PT in the evaluation process and in identifying short- and long-term goals.
