Job summary

SOL Physical Therapy, part of Alliance Physical Therapy Partners, is hiring a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant for our Piedmont clinic. The role emphasizes mentorship, clinical growth, and practicing with independence within a supportive, clinician-led team focused on patient-first care.

Qualifications

• Licensed PTA or eligible to obtain licensure in California.
• Commitment to patient-first, compassionate care.
• Willingness to collaborate with clinicians and support staff.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care according to approved plan and physician orders.
• Assist in patient assessment and monitor progress within scope of practice.
• Collaborate with evaluating therapists to support treatment goals and outcomes.
• Provide education to patients and families about plan of care.
• Support discharge planning and re-evaluation with the team.
• Communicate effectively with care team to optimize outcomes.
• Apply clinical techniques and modalities as appropriate.
• Travel to local Piedmont clinics as needed.

What Your Day Will Look Like

Your day is designed around patient-first, relationship-driven care—not volume for volume’s sake.

• Delivers patient care according to standards, physician orders, and care plan
• Assists in patient assessment and tracks progress within scope of practice
• Collaborates with evaluating therapists to support treatment goals and outcomes
• Provides education to patients, families, and caregivers according to the established plan of care.
• Supports discharge planning and goal reassessment with therapist
• Communicates effectively with care team to optimize patient outcomes
• Applies appropriate clinical techniques, modalities, and equipment
• Travels to local clinics as needed---

Physical Requirements

• Ability to assist patients with transfers and mobility
