Job summary

Phoenix Home Care & Hospice is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to deliver in-home PT services in Lake Ozark, MO and surrounding areas. Work with a licensed PT to adjust care plans and help patients achieve mobility goals while enjoying a work-life balance facilitated by AI-assisted charting.

Qualifications

• MO PTA certification required.
• Home health experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to pass drug test, background check, and physical.

Responsibilities

• Provides PT assigned services to patients in the home setting under the supervision of a licensed PT.
• Participates in communication and case conference activities to promote continuity and quality of patient care.
• Exhibits sound judgement and technical skills to perform treatments per agency protocols.
• Maintains compliance with the Agency Code of Ethics.
• Demonstrates ongoing compliance with agency standards, policies, and state/federal regulations.
• Practices safety, infection control measures.
• Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Physical Therapist Assistants carry out various elements of patient care, gathering relevant information about the treatment administered, and collaborating with the Physical Therapist to make adjustments to the care plan when needed. • Maintains compliance with the Agency Code of Ethics.
• Demonstrates ongoing compliance with agency standards, policies, procedures, state and Federal regulations, state practice acts for licenses personnel, payer requirements.
• Practices safety, environmental, and/or infection control measures.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Requirements

• Physical Therapist Assistant Certification for the state of MO
• Home Health experience preferred, not required
• Ability to Pass Drug Test, Background Check, and Physical
