PT Near Me is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to provide in-home therapy from Ocala, FL across Marion County. You’ll treat patients in their homes, coordinating with a supervising PT and choosing your own schedule within a flexible, patient-centered model.

We offer per-visit pay and back-office support, so you can focus on hands-on therapy and progress documentation, with autonomy in your daily caseload.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Active Florida PTA license or license-eligible.
• Knowledge of outpatient/home rehab techniques, anatomy and medical terminology.
• Reliable transportation and ability to manage time and service area independently.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for helping patients regain function at home.
• Home-based care experience preferred.

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) — In-Home, Florida

We have an immediate need for a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to cover in-home visits in Ocala and Marion County. From an Ocala home base our PTAs commonly cover Silver Springs Shores, Marion Oaks, Belleview, Ocklawaha, and into Dunnellon and Anthony. Drives are short inside the city and the county's grid makes route planning simple. Ocala sits in Marion County. I-75 runs the length of the county and produces constant crash-recovery referrals, while the horse-country retiree population keeps total-joint and balance work steady. The city grid makes route planning simple and most visits sit inside a 20-minute drive. Communities covered from a Ocala base include Silver Springs Shores, Marion Oaks, Belleview, Ocklawaha, Anthony, Dunnellon.

We're hiring a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team and deliver skilled therapy in patients' homes — a strong fit for a motivated PTA who values autonomy, flexible scheduling, and patient-centered care, with competitive per-visit pay, hours you set, and the freedom to add visits whenever you want. What you’ll do:

• Deliver skilled treatment under a PT-authored plan of care in patients' homes — therapeutic exercise, mobility and gait training, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, and trigger-point techniques.


• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercises, mobility strategies, and safety.


• Document each visit accurately and communicate progress to the supervising PT.


• Keep every home visit safe and professional.


• Treat a range of cases — post-accident, post-surgical, and chronic-condition patients.

What you need:

• Associate's degree from an accredited PTA program.


• Active Florida PTA license (or license-eligible).


• Knowledge of outpatient/home rehab techniques, anatomy, and medical terminology.
