Job summary

The Grove at Carvalho in Massachusetts is seeking full time and part time Physical Therapy Assistants to join our Rehab department. The role includes performing PTA duties and supporting the licensed Physical Therapist in daily patient care.

Compensation is $32-38 per hour with a $3,000 sign-on bonus for full-time, plus a strong benefits package including 401k and health coverage. Prior MA licensure is required, with tuition reimbursement and PTO offered.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program or MA certification.
• MA Licensure required.
• Provides PT treatments under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical therapy treatments as designated by the licensed PT.
• Assist the PT in setting treatment priorities and goals, maintaining professionalism with patients.
• Record patient modality treatments daily.
• Document on CCP as indicated.
• Assist with chart audits as directed.
• Write progress notes and review notes with the PT.

Job responsibilities:

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program or Certification by the University of the State of MA
• MA Licensure.
• Performs Physical Therapy treatments as designated by the licensed Physical Therapist.
• Assists the Physical Therapist in determining treatment priorities, identifying goals and selecting appropriate treatment techniques. Establishes rapport and maintains professionalism in administering treatment to patients.
• Records patient’s modality treatments daily.
• Documents on CCP, as indicated.
• Assist with chart audits as directed.
• Writes progress notes as appropriate and reviews notes and goals with the Physical Therapist.
