Job summary

Southland Care Center in Norwalk, CA is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant to join our in-house therapy team. You will provide rehabilitative treatment under the supervision of a Physical Therapist and work a Tue-Sat schedule with competitive hourly pay.

Responsibilities

• Apply evidence-based practices to support clinical interventions.
• Provide rehabilitative treatment to patients under supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Administer rehabilitation procedures including manual techniques, ambulation, exercises, modalities, and device use under supervision.
• Collaborate with the supervising Physical Therapist to adjust treatments per regulations and clinical practice.
• Offer counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other providers regarding physical disorders.

PHYSICAL THERAPIST ASSSISTANT - FULL TIME

TUESDAY - SATURDAY SCHEDULE

SOUTHLAND CARE CENTER - NORWALK, CA

Southland Care Center in Norwalk, CA is a post-acute care facility with long-term care, short-term care, and geriatric outpatient services provided. We are seeking a Full Time Physical Therapist Assistant to join our in-house therapy team. As a member of our team, you can expect excellent leadership, facility level decision making, competitive compensation and most of all, a fun work environment where you are appreciated and supported to do your best work.

Full Time : Tuesday-Saturday schedule with work-life balance
Pay : $36 - $39 /hour based on experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply evidence-based practices to support clinical interventions.
• Provide rehabilitative treatment to patients with physical functioning disorders under Physical Therapist supervision.
• Administer various rehabilitation procedures, including manual techniques, ambulation, exercises, modalities, and supportive device use, under Physical Therapist supervision.
• Collaborate with the supervising Physical Therapist to assess and adjust treatments according to regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Offer consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.

Qualifications:

• Physical Therapist Assistant license is required
