Job summary

Select Physical Therapy in Wesley Chapel is hiring a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to join their team. This position offers the opportunity to treat primarily outpatient orthopedic patients with a focus on neuro, vestibular, and hand therapy.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of experience in outpatient orthopedic settings and must hold a valid PTA license or be in the process of obtaining one. The work schedule is as needed, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of outpatient orthopedic experience required.
• College graduate from an accredited PTA program.
• CPR Certification is necessary.

Responsibilities

Select Physical Therapy's outpatient center in Wesley Chapel is now hiring a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). Join our clinical team of 2 treating primarily outpatient orthopedics. Center specializes in neuro, vestibular and hand therapy. Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistants with a minimum of 1 yr experience, APPLY!

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures.
• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

Qualifications

• College graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE.
• Valid State Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License (or license in process).
• Minimum 1 yr outpatient orthopedic experience.
• CPR Certification.
