Position: Physical Therapist Assistant

Location: Newington, CT

Schedule: Monday through Friday

PRN and part-time positions are also available.

Compensation: Hourly rate based on experience.

Our Select Physical Therapy outpatient orthopedic center is seeking a licensed physical therapist assistant (PTA) to provide top-notch patient care to patients of all ages and abilities. Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist, as mandated by the State Practice Act.
• Implement, with minimal supervision, high-quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers, and facilities in accordance with physical therapy principles and company policies.
• Maintain positive interactions with centers and patients, and foster client relations with centers and staff.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program.
• Passed the national examination for PTAs certified by CAPTE.
• Valid state PTA license or in the process of obtaining one.
• CPR certification.
