Education & Experience:
  • Graduate of an APTA-accredited physical therapy school
Computer Skills:
  • Proficient in clinical documentation and internet navigation
Licenses & Certifications:
  • Valid Physical Therapy Assistant license

Responsibilities

Physical Therapist Assistant

Summary: Provide physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed PT, maintaining positive interactions with patients, facilities, and clients. Deliver quality patient care, supervise Rehab Techs (if required), and handle case management. Uphold professional conduct reflecting Reliant Rehabilitation’s commitment to quality and service, adhering to all regulations.

Essential Duties:

  • Optimize patients' functional abilities under PT supervision
  • Develop and build a strong physical therapy program
  • Enhance clinical and management skills through interaction and continuing education
  • Maintain valid state license and stay informed on industry issues
  • Understand billing, treatment guidelines, and payment models
  • Follow infection control and safety protocols
  • Communicate effectively in English
