As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you’ll contribute to our success in the following ways: Provide physical therapy services according to the treatment plan established by the Physical Therapist. Help patients work toward therapy goals that improve mobility, function, and independence. Monitor patient progress and promptly report changes in condition or concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist. Educate patients and caregivers on home therapy programs and techniques to support continued progress. Teach patients and families how to safely use assistive devices, including canes, walkers, wheelchairs, prosthetics, and orthotics. Deliver safe, high-quality therapy services in accordance with physician orders, clinical standards, and state practice guidelines.
