Job summary

The Orchards at Three Rivers is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team in Three Rivers, Michigan. You will work under a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver high-quality care to residents, supporting recovery and functional improvement.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in PTA is required.

About the Role:

As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) at The Orchards at Three Rivers, you will play a vital role in our rehabilitation department. You will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality physical therapy services to our residents. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Assisting Physical Therapists: Providing direct patient care, including implementing treatment plans, performing exercises, and utilizing various modalities to promote patient recovery and improvement.

• Conducting Patient Assessments: Evaluating patients' physical function, range of motion, strength, and flexibility to develop individualized treatment plans.

• Communicating with Patients and Families: Educating patients and their families on the treatment plan, progress, and goals, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.

• Maintaining Accurate Records: Documenting patient information, treatment plans, and progress in our electronic medical records system.

Requirements:
