Flagship Therapy in Monticello, FL is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PRN) to join our in-house rehab program. The role involves screening, evaluating, and implementing treatment plans for geriatric patients, with opportunities to work closely with an in-house team across care settings.

The PTA will deliver skilled therapies, participate in wound care, and provide patient-family counseling while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients with physical functioning disorders or wound care and develop care plans.
• Deliver rehabilitative treatments per plan and regulatory requirements.
• Perform activities requiring standing/walking; assist with transfers and lifting as needed.
• Administer procedures: manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, assistive devices, wound care.
• Provide counseling to patients, families, and other providers.
• Generate discharge summaries compliant with regulatory guidelines.

PHYSICAL THERAPIST ASSISTANT – PRN – MONTICELLO, FL Join our team and start making a difference! Our expanding network of in-house therapy Ensign-affiliate operated healthcare facilities is growing, and we are scouting for excellent therapists to join us in Monticello, FL. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking dedicated PRN Physical Therapist Assistants for our in-house rehab program!

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct effective screening and evaluation of patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, developing appropriate care plans adhering to regulatory and clinical standards.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• The role involves regular standing and walking throughout the facility and occasional lifting, transferring, and repositioning of patients and equipment. Physical demands vary throughout the day based on patient care needs.
• Administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, use of supportive and assistive devices, and wound care.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries of services provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical requirements.

Qualifications

• Physical Therapist Assistant license is required.
• Open to PTAs at all experience levels. New Grads are welcome!
