Job summary

Grandview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. Under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, you will provide skilled therapy services to help residents improve mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence.

You will implement individualized treatment plans, monitor patient responses, document progress, and collaborate with nursing and other team members to promote safety,

Qualifications

• Current PTA license in the applicable state.
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or geriatric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Assist residents with therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfers, balance activities, and functional mobility
• Follow individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising PT
• Monitor resident responses to treatment and communicate progress to the Physical Therapist
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Collaborate with nursing staff and other members of the interdisciplinary team
• Promote resident safety, independence, and participation throughout treatment
• Educate residents and caregivers on appropriate exercises, mobility techniques, and safety strategies
