Job summary

Lakes at Lutz Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team in Florida. The PTA will provide direct patient care under supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, documenting treatments and monitoring progress to support patient outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate degree from an accredited PTA program, current Florida PTA license, and good communication skills.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current and valid PTA license in the state of practice.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer treatment programs as established by the Physical Therapist.
• Deliver high-quality care focused on achieving excellent patient outcomes.
• Assess patient condition using knowledge of basic biological and medical sciences.
• Assist in establishing treatment goals and objectives.
• Implement patient treatment plans under the guidance of the Physical Therapist.
• Perform delegated components of patient evaluations and interventions.
• Educate patients on therapy techniques, modalities, and home exercise programs.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatments and patient progress.

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team!

The Physical Therapist Assistant will provide direct patient care services under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. Responsibilities include documenting patient treatments, monitoring changes in condition, and reporting other pertinent information as required. The ideal candidate will deliver appropriate therapeutic interventions tailored to each patient’s age, condition, and individual needs.
