Job summary

Allison Care Center in Lakewood, CO seeks a qualified Physical Therapist Assistant or Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our patient-care team. Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Assistant Program.
• Must have current PTA/OTA licensure.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Commitment to person-centered care with dignity and respect.
• Ability to work with licensed therapist and care team.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under direction of the Staff Therapist.
• Respect residents' rights and maintain privacy.
• Support teamwork and share information to achieve care goals.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Prepare residents for therapy sessions and document progress.

Position Summary

Provides patient care and patient related activities as directed by the Staff Therapist and in accordance with established medical practices, governmental requirements and Company policies and procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Assistant Program
• Successful completion of certificate/state licensure process for Physical or Occupational Therapy Assistants
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
