Job summary

Sportsptcenters at SPT Lake Stevens, an outpatient orthopedic and performance PT clinic, seeks a licensed PTA to join an active rehab and open-gym setting that emphasizes real-world outcomes.

You will work closely with the PT and Clinic Director, coach therapeutic exercise, monitor progress, and help maintain smooth patient flow with clear documentation. New grads welcome and supported.

Qualifications

• Licensed PTA in Washington State
• Interest in orthopedic and sports rehab
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Treat patients under the PT’s established plan of care
• Coach therapeutic exercise, movement retraining, and progressive strengthening
• Monitor patient response and communicate updates to the PT
• Assist with exercise progression using objective measures and clinical guidance
• Work collaboratively with PTs and aides to maintain patient flow and care quality
• Complete documentation efficiently during the workday
• Direct access to PTs and Clinic Director for guidance and feedback
• Clear onboarding and gradual increase in responsibility
• Ongoing coaching focused on confidence, efficiency, and consistency
• Strong team communication and independence for patient care

You’ll work closely with the Physical Therapist and Clinic Director with clear expectations, strong communication, and ongoing support.

Your First 30-60 Days

• Structured onboarding with clear expectations
• Observation and collaborative treatment sessions with PTs
• Gradual progression to independent patient care
• Focus on communication, flow, and confidence in treatment delivery

Additional Information
