The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide skilled therapy services based on resident needs and individualized treatment plans.

Provide physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
Assist residents with therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfers, balance, and functional mobility
Implement individualized treatment plans
Monitor resident responses and communicate progress to the supervising PT
Complete accurate and timely treatment documentation
Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary rehabilitation staff
Promote resident safety and independence
Provide quality, resident-centered care during scheduled PRN shifts
Current PTA license in the applicable state
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Previous skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience preferred
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work independently while following established treatment plans
Flexible and dependable approach to PRN scheduling
Passion for helping residents achieve their rehabilitation goals
