Job summary

Northwest Rehabilitation & Associates in Keizer, OR, seeks a dedicated Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team.

You will assist therapists with treatment plans, exercises, and patient education in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required.
• Current licensure in Oregon or eligibility for licensure.
• Outpatient experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Follow-up with patients and conduct therapeutic exercises per PT instructions.
• Assist therapists in developing and implementing patient treatment plans.
• Implement interventions including manual therapy, exercise prescriptions, modalities, and education.
• Document patient progress using Raintree and report changes to the PT.
• Educate patients and families on exercises and care plans.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and quality care.

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient FollowUp: Conduct therapeutic exercises and modalities as instructed by the physical therapist.
• Treatment Planning:Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing patient treatment plans.
• Therapeutic Interventions: Implement various therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescriptions, modalities, and patient education.
• Documentation: While using Raintree, Monitor and document patient progress during treatment sessions, reporting changes to the physical therapist.
• Patient Education:Educate patients and families on exercises, pain management techniques, and care plans
• Professional Atmosphere: Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care and safety.

Qualifications:

• Associate Degree as Physical Therapy Assistant from accredited institution.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Previous outpatient experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
