You will collaborate with physical therapists to help patients recover from musculoskeletal injuries, surgeries, and chronic conditions. The role emphasizes strong clinical reasoning, patient education, and a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Completion of all requirements and a current Florida PTA certification is required.
• Strong interpersonal and patient interaction skills; ability to instruct, motivate, and encourage patients.

Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans and directives.
• Guide and encourage patients through manual and non-manual therapeutic exercises, daily-living activities, and the use of supportive devices (crutches, canes, prostheses).
• Provide patient education on wellness, growth and development, and therapeutic regimens.
• Document patient care accurately in medical and departmental records.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized clinical environment in compliance with infection-control and safety protocols.
• Monitor treatment trends, patient progress, and production objectives to support clinic efficiency.
• Contribute to the clinic’s reputation by taking ownership of patient care and exploring opportunities to enhance services.

Reports To: Clinic Director / Lead Physical Therapist

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans and directives.

Requirements:
