Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation of treatment plans developed by the physical therapist to address patients' specific rehabilitation goals and functional needs.
• Lead patients through prescribed exercises and therapeutic activities designed to enhance their physical function and promote recovery; instruct patients on proper exercise techniques, monitor progress, and provide feedback to ensure safe and effective participation.
• Ensure the proper application of various treatment modalities, monitor patient responses, and adjust treatment parameters as necessary to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on injury prevention strategies, proper body mechanics, and techniques for managing pain and discomfort.
• Monitor patients' responses to treatment interventions, documenting progress, and any changes in functional status or treatment tolerance; communicate regularly with the supervising physical therapist, providing updates on patient progress and collaborating on adjustments to the treatment plan as needed.
