Job summary

Reliant Rehabilitation is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to deliver therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. You will implement treatment plans, supervise Rehab Technicians as applicable, and manage patient cases with a focus on high-quality care and regulatory compliance.

The role requires active licensure, graduation from an APTA-accredited program, and ongoing professional development to improve patient outcomes in a fast-paced facility setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Valid Physical Therapy Assistant state license.
• Maintain licensure and comply with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Support patients under the supervision of a licensed PT to improve functional abilities.
• Contribute to the development and sustainability of a robust physical therapy program.
• Advance clinical and leadership skills through collaboration and continuing education.
• Maintain current and valid state license and stay informed on PT developments and healthcare.
• Understand and apply appropriate billing practices and treatment delivery models.
• Follow infection control and environmental safety protocols within the facility.
• Communicate effectively in English for documentation and interactions.

This Physical Therapy Assistant delivers Physical Therapy and related services to patients under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT), ensuring high-quality care and positive engagement with both clients and facilities. Services should align with the principles of physical therapy and adhere to Reliant Rehabilitation’s standards. Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, supervising Rehab Technicians (as applicable), and managing patient cases. Maintain a professional demeanor that reflects Reliant Rehabilitation’s dedication to excellence in service and client relationships. Comply with all applicable state and federal regulations governing physical therapy practice.
