Job summary

AdviniaCare Waterview Villa is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our rehabilitation team. You will assist licensed physical therapists in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to residents.

You will help implement individualized treatment plans, provide PT treatments, and collaborate with the care team to promote outcomes and independence for residents.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Pass the national licensure exam.
• Obtain a state PTA license in the state of this facility.

Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing treatment plans.
• Provide therapies such as exercises, stretches, and modalities as directed.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatments and progress.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care.
• Educate patients to promote independence and empowerment.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace following infection control standards.
