HealthPro Heritage in Duxbury, MA is offering a full-time Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (LPTA) position. You will work under Physical Therapists across a range of settings including nursing facilities, retirement communities, hospitals, home care, and pediatric clinics.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant, or license eligible.
• Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists; provide direct patient care including exercises, manual therapy, and modality applications.
• Monitor and document patient progress; report observations to the Physical Therapist; educate patients and families on treatment protocols.
• Accurately document patient treatments, progress, and responses in accordance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with Physical Therapists and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate’s degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program.
• Licensure: Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant, or license eligible
• Skills: Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in using diagnostic tools, therapy equipment, relevant software, and electronic health record systems, with a proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
