Responsibilities
- Assist the supervising Physical Therapist in evaluating patient status, observing during/after treatments, and reporting progress or changes.
- Implement individualized treatment plans as a PTA, including therapeutic exercises, gait training, manual techniques, stretching, and use of assistive devices.
- Set clear goals with patients, educate them and families on expectations, and build understanding of the rehab process.
- Maintain precise documentation for all visits, treatments, and outcomes.
