Job summary

Medix is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in Dallas for an outpatient rehabilitation setting. You will work Monday through Friday, with a focus on one-on-one patient care to support mobility, function, and goals.

You will collaborate with licensed Physical Therapists, document progress, and educate patients on home exercises. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred, with competitive hourly pay and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Active Texas PTA license is required.
• Experience in outpatient orthopedic or rehabilitation is preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred but not required.
• Ability to manage 7-8 patients per day with individualized care.

Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans.
• Provide one-on-one therapeutic exercises and interventions.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Educate patients on home exercise programs and proper body mechanics.
• Accurately document treatments, patient progress, and outcomes.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized treatment environment.
• Deliver exceptional patient care while fostering a positive patient experience.
