Responsibilities

1. Provide physical therapy services as planned, delegated, and supervised by a qualified Physical Therapist, according to the patient's Plan of Treatment.
2. Regularly confer with the Physical Therapist regarding the patient’s progress, questions, and concerns.
3. Assist with cleaning and maintenance of equipment and treatment areas.
4. Report equipment issues to ensure proper maintenance.
5. Communicate patient needs and progress to the Physical Therapist and assist in securing adaptive equipment to improve function.
6. Maintain and submit patient treatment and billing documentation in compliance with applicable regulations.
7. Adhere to the company's Code of Conduct, policies, HIPAA, and professional standards.
8. Participate in staff development programs, obtain continuing education, and maintain clinical skills.

Qualifications

1. Current unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the practicing state.
2. Current BLS or CPR certification, as per state regulations.
3. At least one year of work experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant preferred.
4. Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to neurological injuries.
5. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
6. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
