Miramar Healthcare Center in Santa Barbara, CA, is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant for its in-house rehab program. The PTA will work under a Physical Therapist to deliver rehabilitative care to geriatric patients and collaborate on treatment plans.

• Apply evidence-based practices to support clinical interventions.
• Provide rehabilitative treatment to patients under Physical Therapist supervision.
• Administer rehabilitation procedures, including manual techniques, ambulation, exercises, modalities, and device use, under PT supervision.
• Collaborate with the supervising Physical Therapist to adjust treatments per regulatory/clinical guidelines.

Join our IN-HOUSE Therapy Team in Santa Barbara as a dedicated PTA!

Miramar Healthcare Center in Santa Barbara, CA, is a post-acute care facility with long-term care, short-term care, and geriatric outpatient services provided. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking a Full Time Physical Therapist Assistant for our in-house rehab program!

Full Time: Flexible schedule with work-life balance
Pay: $40 - $50 /hour based on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Apply evidence-based practices to support clinical interventions.
• Provide rehabilitative treatment to patients with physical functioning disorders under Physical Therapist supervision.
• Administer various rehabilitation procedures, including manual techniques, ambulation, exercises, modalities, and supportive device use, under Physical Therapist supervision.
• Collaborate with the supervising Physical Therapist to assess and adjust treatments according to regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Offer consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.

Qualifications
