Overview:
We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our Acute Rehabilitation team! Therapeutic Associates, Inc. specializes in orthopedics and manual therapy and prides itself on our one-on-one patient care and strong relationships with referral sources. Ideal candidates will have an interest in working with an orthopedic and Pelvic Health patient population or the desire to gain experience in this specialty.
Therapeutic Associates, Inc. has maintained a contract with St. Joseph’s Medical Center since 1954, within inpatient and outpatient settings. We serve patients ranging from newborns to older adulthood. Our patients include NICU, orthopedic, neurological, oncology, bariatric, and ICU early mobility cases. We are an advanced primary stroke center!
Our acute rehabilitation is primarily neurological, with some post ICU patients and complex orthopedics. Our outpatient focus includes hand therapy, oncology, head and neck lymphedema, orthopedic, sports medicine, women’s health/continence restoration, balance, Parkinson’s disease, torticollis, and more!
Our facility is divided into 5 areas: inpatient, outpatient, acute rehab, balance clinic, and oncology rehab — each with unique features. The inpatient hospital offers bedside treatment or in two PT gyms. The acute rehab area has a dedicated floor with a PT/OT gym. The balance clinic features a Balance Master with force plates and serves Parkinson’s patients using the LSVT "Big and Loud" methodology. The oncology rehab area includes lymphedema rooms, a gym, and a restorative garden. The outpatient office has multiple treatment rooms, a work hardening and hands area, and a gym for patient treatment.
